Dear Patients,
We hope everyone is still managing as we all adjust to this new normal of social isolation. Please know we remain here for you, and continue to explore ways we can help all of our patients. As many of you know, we are seeing patients in Maryland, Virginia, and DC, both established and new, by telehealth appointment. Seeing you by telehealth is still important as we can check in, help you try and stay ahead of the spring allergy season (which is well upon us), update and refill your medications, review your emergency plans (especially in the current setting), and answer COVID-19 questions –but know we are still not testing for COVID-19 in our office. Also, we do need to see everyone at least once yearly to update medications and fill out school forms.
We are also writing today regarding Governor Hogan’s new stay-at-home directive which starts tonight at 8pm. Seeking medical care – for you and your family – is exempted as it is considered an essential service. So to our Oral Immunotherapy patients, you can continue to be seen, and to our shot patients… please continue to schedule via Schedulicity (you are doing a great job)! If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out to us.
Stay safe, wash your hands, and keep up the isolation – we know it can be hard, but its critical for all of us right now. And remember: if you are a pollen sufferer, keep your windows closed!
Thank you,
Team Schreiber Allergy
