Rachel L. Schreiber, M.D., FAAAAI is a Diplomate of the American Board of Allergy/Immunology and Immediate Past President of the Greater Washington Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Society.
Dr. Schreiber is a Washingtonian Magazine "Top Doctor" and a Washington Consumer Checkbook Top Doctor. She is named one of "America's Top Physicians" by the Consumers' Research Council of America and Castle Connolly. She has also been awarded the "SuperDoctors" distinction.
Dr. Schreiber has published numerous articles in peer reviewed scientific journals, and is co-author of "Allergic Rhinitis" in Pediatric Otolaryngology. She is a member of numerous local and national medical and professional societies, and served as a Board Member for the Pennsylvania Allergy and Asthma Association. She has mentored students in the Women's Entrepreneurial Leadership class at George Washington University School of Business and guest lectured in GW's "Medical Issues in Sports Medicine" class. In 2013 Dr. Schreiber had the pleasure of serving as the Honorary Medical Chair of the Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE) Walk in Rockville, MD.
Dr. Schreiber graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Cum Laude, with a B.A. in English from the University of Maryland's General Honors Program. After completing a research fellowship through an Intramural Research Training Award at the National Institutes of Health she went on to graduate with her M.D. from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine internship and residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), and her Allergy/Immunology fellowship at UPMC/Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.
After practicing Allergy/Immunology in Pittsburgh, Dr. Schreiber moved back to her native Maryland in 2005. She has been a practicing allergist/immunologist in the Rockville area for twelve years. Dr. Schreiber has worked with multiple media outlets, including the web, print publications, radio, and local and national television to educate the public on practical medical issues. In 2009, she traveled to Hollywood to guest co-host the nationally syndicated show "The Doctors."
Dr. Schreiber lives in Rockville with her husband, two sons, and their dog Leo. When she is not in the office she may be found on a Montgomery County Field being a Soccer Mom.

Jennifer joined Schreiber Allergy in July 2016. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology with a concentration in Pre-PA Studies from Shenandoah University. At Shenandoah, Jennifer was a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta Honors Society as well as the Citizen Scholar program. She then attended Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania where she received her Masters of Health Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies. Jennifer's clinical rotations included Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. Jennifer is nationally board certified, and she is a member of AAPA, MAPA, and AAPA-AAI. Jennifer and her husband live in North Bethesda.
Colleen Ott, RN, BSN is our Allergy Center's Nursing Director. She is a 1993 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. Following graduation, Colleen spent four years in active duty in the Army, and remained in the Army Reserves for a subsequent four years. Her nursing experience is extremely well rounded: She has worked on Medical-Surgical floors, Pediatric floors, and Labor & Delivery. Prior to joining the Allergy Center, she worked at Fort Meade's Medical Facility in Pediatrics, Family Medicine, and Internal Medicine. Colleen has lived overseas in Germany, and in the US, she has resided in Texas, Arizona, Hawaii, Kansas, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and Maryland.
Colleen lives in Montgomery Village with her husband (still in the Army Reserves) and three children.
